Teen Ministry (Age 12 - Grade 12)
Long Hill Baptist Church is a place where teens can grow in the LORD. We have a burden to see teenagers receive Christ. And we take seriously our responsibility to disciple our teenagers. Our teenagers are learning to yield to the Holy Spirit -- and to rely upon the LORD for strength to live a life that reflects Biblical standards of separation. And they're learning to share their faith, too.
We offer a variety of Christ-centered activities for teens:
- Weekly evening teen group (Tuesdays, 7:00-8:30 PM)
- Teen Sunday School (9:45 AM)
- Supervised activities and trips
- Ministry opportunities
Special Events:
Youth Fest 2009: On October 12, 2009, our 7th - 12th graders attended Youth Fest 2009 at Central Baptist Church in Southington, CT. This was a large regional youth event that provided an opportunity for teens to expose their unsaved friends to the gospel. Youth Fest included opportunities to participate in paintball, a rock climbing wall, a Japanese obstacle course, human foosball, scores of booth activities, numerous games, food and great preaching.
